Genebre 2450 – Flanged Check Disk Valve PN16

The Genebre 2450 is a flanged, disk-type check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in water networks and compatible non-hazardous liquids. Operation is automatic, actuated by differential pressure and flow direction, with no external actuator required. The technical datasheet refers to this model as a flanges ends check disk valve.

Construction Materials

Body and disk: cast iron EN-GJL-250 / GG-25 with epoxy coating. Guide and shaft: nickel-plated brass (up to DN100), nickel-plated GG-25 (DN125–DN250). Spring: stainless steel. Sealing: NBR.

Hydraulic Data

Kv values range from 95 m³/h (DN50) to 1750 m³/h (DN250). Minimum opening pressure depends on installation orientation and size, typically 17–68 mbar in standard layouts.

Installation & Maintenance

Piping must be free of debris, weld residues, and foreign objects. Do not install immediately downstream of pumps, elbows, reducers, or other valves; maintain 10×DN upstream and 3×DN downstream clearances. No lubrication required. Inspect for leakage and check for loose or corroded connections.
