ARI-ZETRIX® 018 ANSI Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

The ARI-ZETRIX® 018 ANSI is a fully lugged / threaded flanged triple offset butterfly valve with metal sealing. Designed for ANSI flanged connections and lug-type mechanical retention, it primarily serves as an on/off isolation valve in process lines.

Sealing and Temperature

Sealing is achieved with a lamellar sealing ring made of Graphite / SA240Gr.31803. The operational temperature range is -29 to +427 °C. Tightness is tested according to DIN EN 12266-1 with leakage rate A.

Pressure Limits

Maximum differential pressure equals nominal pressure, but allowable operating pressure should be verified against ASME B16.34 pressure-temperature ratings. For SA216WCB Class 150, 19.6 bar at 38 °C and 5.5 bar at 425 °C; for Class 300, 51.1 bar at 38 °C and 28.8 bar at 425 °C.

Actuation and Automation

Available with gearbox, electric rotary actuator Auma or Schiebel, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator. Sizing requires Δp, temperature, class, operation frequency, available air pressure, and fail position. Actuator connection follows EN ISO 5211.

Options and Applications

Options include EN ISO 15848-1 / TA-Luft packing, secondary sealing with O-rings and test port, blow-out protected stem per API 609, NACE MR0103, heating jacket, and cavity-free design. Suitable for steam, thermal oils, hydrocarbons, hot water, and critical media after material and temperature verification.

Difference from ZETRIX 016 / 019 ANSI

016 ANSI is double flanged, 018 ANSI is fully lugged / threaded flanged, while 019 ANSI features butt-weld ends.
