The Valvosider DIN bellows seal globe valve is designed for industrial steam lines, hot water, condensates, gases, and process fluids. The bellows minimize stem leakage, while the graphite packing serves as secondary sealing.
The series includes flanged DIN versions with:
The valve features a bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke, with a rising stem and handwheel. Design follows EN 12516, face-to-face dimensions per EN 12982 / EN 558, flanges per EN 1092, testing per EN 12266, marking EN 19, CE-PED, and material certificates EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2.
Body materials include 1.0619, 1.4408, and 1.4581. The bellows are X6CrNiTi18-10, gaskets are stainless steel reinforced with graphite, and packing consists of graphite rings with wiper rings. Optional seats include PTFE, Stellite, Monel, or Hastelloy.
Selection should not rely solely on DN. Consider:
For high ΔP below the disc, the manufacturer provides limits per DN and suggests gear or bypass actuation when limits are exceeded.
When to choose bellows?
In lines where packing leakage is unacceptable for safety, emissions, or steam loss reasons.
Can it be used for regulation?
Only with a suitable regulating disc and control of ΔP, noise, and seat wear.
When is PN63 or PN100 required?
When the piping class and operating temperature demand a higher rating than PN16/25/40.
