Genebre 2540E / 2541E Three-Way Flanged Ball Valve, Full Bore

The Genebre 2540E / 2541E series consists of three-way, full bore, flanged ball valves for flow diversion, selection, or distribution in industrial piping systems. The 2540E features an L-bore configuration, while the 2541E uses a T-bore arrangement. Flanges comply with EN 1092; pressure classes are PN40 for DN25–DN50 and PN16 for DN65–DN100.

Construction and Sealing

Body and end caps: stainless steel 1.4408 / CF8M.
Ball: stainless steel 1.4408, polished finish.
Stem: AISI 316, anti-blowout design.
Seats: 4 x PTFE + 15% glass fibre.
Stem sealing: PTFE and O-ring FPM / Viton.
Antistatic device between ball, stem, and body; handle with locking mechanism.

Pressure, Temperature, and Flow

Maximum operating pressure is 16 or 40 bar, depending on size. Technical datasheet specifies operating temperature -25°C to +180°C; product description notes -30°C to +180°C. Always refer to the approved datasheet and pressure–temperature curve for final selection. Kv values range from 39 to 653 m³/h.

2540E vs 2541E: Flow Path Differences

The L-bore version is used when a common line must be alternately connected to two branches. The T-bore version allows more flow path combinations; flow pattern must be verified before actuator or limit switch installation.

Automation and Applications

Top mounting pad ISO 5211 enables direct mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators. Typical applications: process water, compressed air, neutral liquids, skids, manifolds, and feed/return selection lines. For chemical media, verify compatibility with CF8M, PTFE+GF, and FPM materials.
