Valpres 7608 PN16-F1 two-piece flanged ball valve

The Valpres 7608 is a split-body flanged ball valve used for flow isolation in industrial piping. It is available from DN15 to DN100 with DIN flanges and PN16 or PN40 pressure rating depending on size and version. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +160°C. Vacuum service is stated down to 10⁻³ torr.

Construction and material variants

• 760801: body and end connection in 1.4408 / ASTM A351 CF8M, with ball in A479 TP316 or CF8M. This version is typically selected where corrosion resistance to water, light chemicals, or process fluids is required.
• 760802: body in ASTM A352 LCB, with ball in A479 TP304 or CF8. This version is generally used on carbon-steel piping systems where stainless wetted trim is acceptable.

Variant selection should be based on fluid chemistry, chloride content, corrosion allowance, temperature, pressure class, piping material, and project specification.

Sealing arrangement

The valve uses PTFE seats, PTFE and Graphoil stem sealing, an FKM O-ring, and a PTFE thrust washer. This configuration is intended for isolation duty. It should not be used as a continuous throttling valve, since partially open ball valves can generate seat wear, noise, vibration, and unstable control.
