Mounting Kit Eurotec MSH-EPV
Eurotec MSH-EPV is a mounting kit with a polymer mounting plate, designed for the installation of double sensors on manually operated valves. It is used when a manual valve must provide reliable position feedback (open/close) to PLC, DCS, or local panel, without the need for a pneumatic or electric actuator.
Functional Role
The MSH-EPV does not automate the valve and does not transmit torque. Its function is to provide mechanical support for position sensors on a manual valve, enabling position monitoring in process lines.
Typical applications include:
- manual isolation valves,
- bypass lines,
- auxiliary water or air networks,
- chemical dosing points,
- locations requiring detection of unauthorized operation or incorrect valve position.
Technical Use
The kit does not contact process media. Compatibility with water, air, steam, chemicals, or other fluids is determined by the valve and its materials. MSH-EPV selection is based on valve geometry, double sensor type, available mounting space, and control system feedback requirements.

Selection criteria include:
- manual valve type,
- operator position and geometry,
- double sensor type,
- sensor alignment with indicator shaft,
- requirement for Ex sensor or Ex switch box,
- maintenance and inspection access.
Certifications
Eurotec states compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 80079-34 for equipment intended for explosive atmospheres. Ex suitability of the final assembly depends on sensor, wiring, cable glands, and installation method.
