Automatic On/Off Valve AWS Type 700
The AWS Type 700 is a pneumatically actuated 2/2 angle seat valve with a piston and external control. The flow direction is seat-closing, suitable for rapid isolation rather than continuous flow regulation. Available in DN10–DN50, with operating pressure up to 16 bar.
Materials and Sealing
The body is made of stainless steel, with PTFE or RTFE seat sealing and PTFE shaft sealing. The medium temperature range is -10°C to +180°C, while the permissible ambient temperature is up to +60°C. Seat leakage is classified as Class A according to EN 12266-1.
Connections and Sizes
The valve is available with internal thread G 3/8" to G 2" or with welding ends according to DIN EN 10357, formerly DIN 11850, and DIN EN ISO 1127 / ISO 4200. Kv values range from 4.7 to 52.8 m³/h, depending on DN and actuator size.
Actuator and Control
The control medium is compressed air. The required control pressure is 3–7 bar and should be checked against diagrams, especially for DN40–DN50 and high differential pressure. The basic function is NC, meaning closed without air. An NO version is optionally available. Options include a 3/2 pilot valve, manual override, and electric position indication.

- Skids, auxiliary circuits, clean networks, and lines with limited space.

No. It is an on/off rapid isolation valve, not a control valve.
