Noris Type 195 – Side-Mounted Sight Glass Wiper

The Noris Bauform 195 is a mechanical wiper designed for cleaning the internal surface of sight glasses, with side entry installation. It is not a standalone sight glass or level gauge. The device is used where visibility is reduced due to condensate, product films, foam, solids, or deposits in pressure or vacuum vessels.

Operating Conditions

• Sealing pressure: up to 16 bar
• Temperature: up to 200 °C, depending on glass and blade material
• Suitable for vacuum service
• Application sizes: DN 100 to DN 200
• Installation: side entry with pressure- and vacuum-rated sealing components

Materials

All wetted parts are manufactured from WN 1.4571 (stainless steel). The wiper blade is available in PTFE or silicone. Selection depends on temperature, chemical compatibility, presence of solids, and risk of glass fouling.

Available Versions

Type 195 can be supplied as a complete sight glass assembly with integrated wiper, or as a retrofit kit for existing sight glasses. Compatible with various Noris sight glass luminaires and with Noris Bauform 198 spray systems.
