Noris Type 190 – Glass Gauge Cleaning System

The Noris Bauform 190 is not a standalone glass gauge. It is a mechanical wiper system for cleaning the glass surface of tank level gauges according to DIN 28120, specifically where process media cause crystallization, dust, sludge, product film, or deposits. The system can be integrated into Noris Bauform 118, 120, and 880 assemblies.

Operating Conditions

• Temperature up to 180 °C with silicone blade
• Temperature up to 200 °C with PTFE blade
• Suitable for vacuum operation
• Glass: borosilicate (DIN 7080) or soda-lime (DIN 8902) up to 150 °C
• Wetted parts: WN 1.4571 (stainless steel)
• Mechanism sealing: Viton or silicone

Pressure Limits by Size

For DIN 28120 level gauges, maximum allowable pressure depends on DN and glass thickness. Typical values: DN 50 up to 7 bar, DN 80 up to 4/8 bar, DN 100 up to 3/6 bar, DN 125 up to 2/5 bar, DN 150 up to 1/4 bar, DN 200 up to 1/2 bar.

Typical Applications
