ADCA ADCAMat POPS-KT Triplex – Triple Mechanical Condensate Unit

The POPS-KT Triplex is a pre-assembled unit featuring three ADCAMat mechanical pumps in parallel configuration, a vented collection tank, and associated piping on a common metal frame. It is utilized for lifting or transferring hot condensate when the return line has backpressure or elevation that prevents gravity drainage with a steam trap alone.

Technical Configuration

  • Arrangement: 3 × ADCAMat POPS pumps
  • Motive medium: steam or compressed air
  • Connections: flanges EN 1092-1 PN16
  • Available sizes: 3 × DN50×50 and 3 × DN80×50
  • Maximum receiver operating pressure: 0.5 bar
  • PED: Group 2, Category 2, CE marked
  • Receiver connections: vent DN150, condensate inlets DN80 or DN100, overflow 2"

Skid Equipment

The unit includes a receiver, MWS1/M3i valves, IS16F and IS140 filters, RD40 check valves, UCX41 + UBS20 steam trap, overflow, and metal base. The assembly is delivered ready for connection to condensate, vent, motive medium, and discharge lines.

When to Choose Triplex

The Triplex version is selected when condensate flow exceeds the capacity of Simplex or Duplex, or when greater operational flexibility is required under variable load. Two or more skids can be connected in parallel for even greater flow, with final control based on head pressure, motive pressure, and filling head.

Stall Condition

In heat exchangers with steam control valves, pressure P1 decreases at partial load. If backpressure P2 becomes equal to or greater than P1, the steam trap does not drain, causing condensate accumulation, reduced heat transfer, water hammer, corrosion, and noise.

FAQ

Does it require electrical power?
No for pumping. Displacement is mechanical using steam or compressed air.

What requires special attention during installation?
The vent line must be free and self-draining towards the receiver.

Description
