Basket Strainer NORIS Bauform 150

The NORIS Bauform 150 is a flanged basket strainer designed for mechanical debris retention in industrial pipelines. The basket screen offers a large open area, which minimizes initial pressure drop and extends intervals between cleaning cycles.

Selection is based on DN, PN, flow rate, allowable Δp, mesh opening, and network contamination rate. The two G ¼" ports allow installation of a differential pressure gauge, supporting maintenance planning before blockage affects pumps or meters.

Comparison with Y-Strainer

Compared to a Y-strainer, the Bauform 150 features a basket screen with higher solids holding capacity. It is suitable for lines with increased particulate load or where pressure drop monitoring is required. For small diameters or limited space, a Y-strainer may be a simpler choice.
