Liquid ejector 250: main features
Description:
Sizes: 3/8” a 1-1/2”
Materials: Bronze and Stainless Steel CF3M
Connection: Rosca BSP
The Valfonta 250 is an ejector designed for lifting and transferring liquids, oils, and viscous fluids, utilizing steam or water as the motive medium. Suction is generated via a jet nozzle, with no moving parts, shaft, mechanical seal, or electric motor involved.
Catalogue flow rates refer to 1 m suction and discharge head, with dry steam at 4 kg/cm² or water at 3 kg/cm² as motive medium. For correct sizing, specify:
Used in auxiliary circuits of industrial installations for transfer or lifting of water, oils, hot liquids, and viscous media. Suitable where a pressurized steam or water network is available and a simple suction arrangement is required without rotating equipment.
The ejector has no impeller and does not regulate flow as a centrifugal pump does. Flow rate depends on motive pressure, backpressure, and suction lift. No actuator, valve seat, or leakage class applies.
Key inspection points: BSP threads, jet nozzle cleanliness, and deposits from salts or sediments. Sealing concerns piping connections, not internal isolation or shut-off sealing.
Documentation references PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX 2014/34/EU, and ISO 9001:2015 for Valfonta. The available ISO certificate expires 15/05/2024; current validity should be confirmed during procurement.
