Genebre 2250 – Flanged Double-Sided Flow Indicator

The Genebre 2250 is a flow indicator equipped with two glass observation plates for local visual monitoring of flow presence, filling levels, bubbles, or fluid color changes. It features a flanged connection according to DIN 2501 PN16, with construction length following DIN 3202 F1.

Pressure and Temperature Selection

The PN16 rating does not imply 16 bar is available across the entire temperature range. The pressure-temperature curve of soda-lime glass indicates a reduction in allowable pressure as temperature increases, nearing zero around 160 °C.

Typical Applications

Suitable for auxiliary water networks, cooling circuits, neutral or compatible chemical liquids, gases, and control points before or after process equipment. It is not a flow meter and does not provide an electrical signal.

Difference from Genebre 2240

The 2240 is a threaded indicator for small lines. The 2250 uses DIN PN16 flanges and covers sizes up to DN100, making it suitable for lines requiring flanged disassembly or connection with existing flanged piping.

Does it accept an actuator?
No. It is a passive visual monitoring component.
