Wall-mounted emergency safety shower and eye wash combination unit, designed for exposed piping installation. Suitable for laboratories, chemical storage areas, mixing zones, container filling points, and industrial environments requiring a single point for body and eye decontamination.

Construction and Operation

Piping, flanges, and arm are AISI 304 stainless steel with green chemical-resistant powder coating. The ¾” body ball valve is DZR brass CW724R, actuated by a 700 mm pull rod. The body shower head is POM, self-draining, with integrated 50 l/min flow control.

The eye wash features two 45° heads, ½” AISI 316 valve, and a 130 mm PUSH plate with phosphorescent marking per DIN 67510. Heads include EPDM protectors and dust covers with tilting mechanism.

Compliant with EN 15154-1:2006, EN 15154-2:2006, EN 15154-5:2019, and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Also references EN 1717, DIN 1988, DIN-DVGW/DVGW, and GOST-R. Versions: 50 l/min hazard class I, 75 l/min hazard class II, 110 l/min hazard class III.

Maintenance

Periodic inspection of flow rate, dynamic pressure, valve tightness, head cleanliness, dust covers, signage, and unobstructed access to pull rod and PUSH plate is required.

The B-SAFETY body safety showers of the ClassicLine series are made of high-quality materials and are just as suitable for use in laboratories and research as they are for rough use in industry. B-SAFETY’s green chemical-resistant polyester powder coating has proven itself in many aggressive environments and is resistant to many acids and alkalis.

The body safety showers are equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the specifications of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely free of calcification and maintenance, and very robust and corrosion-resistant. The limited, uniform and above all soft water jet is optimized for rinsing off chemicals on the skin.
