KITO E 17.10.1 N – Pressure/Vacuum Valve VD/oL-1

The KITO VD/oL-1-…/… is a terminal breather valve designed for tank venting applications. It is primarily used on fixed-roof storage tanks to limit non-permissible overpressure and vacuum, and to reduce vapor losses or emissions. This model is not explosion-proof and is not suitable for continuous burning scenarios.

Difference from E 17.10 N

The E 17.10.1 N variant covers higher pressure settings compared to the VD/oL / E 17.10 N series. For lower setpoints, the E 17.10 N is recommended. Higher setpoints require technical review prior to selection.

Sizes and Connections

• DN 50, 80, 100, 125, 150: PN 16
• DN 200, 250: PN 10
• Optional ASME 2" to 10"
• Flanges: EN 1092-1 Type B1, optionally ASME B16.5 Class 150 RF
• Standard side connection; vertical connection available on request

For vertical connections from DN 100 and above, prior technical agreement is required and on-site support may be necessary.

Operating Setpoints

• Vacuum: 6–55 mbar for DN 50, up to 10–100 mbar for DN 250
• Pressure: >100 / >150 / >200 up to 350 mbar, depending on DN and pressure pallet size
• Vacuum pallet always matches flange size
• Pressure pallet selected according to required breathing capacity

Materials and Sealing

Standard body is carbon steel, with stainless steel 1.4571 as an option. Seat, shaft, weights, and spring-loaded parts are stainless steel. Seat O-ring is VMQ-FEP, with options for Viton, NBR, or VMQ-PFA. Valve sealing is metallic. The pressure pallet is spring-loaded; the vacuum pallet is weight-operated.

The technical datasheet specifies that the valve is supplied without EC certificate and without CE marking.
