Gefran KS Pressure Transmitter
The Gefran KS is an analog pressure transmitter designed for industrial automation, hydraulic power units, compressors, pumps, hydraulic presses, and plastic injection molding machines. The sensing element is a thick film on a stainless steel diaphragm. Wetted parts are compatible with AISI 430F and 17-4 PH, supporting a wide range of industrial fluids and hydraulic oils.

Signal Outputs
KS series is available with 4–20 mA, 0–5 Vdc, 0–10 Vdc, 1–5 Vdc, 1–6 Vdc, and other voltage outputs. 4–20 mA is preferred for long cable runs and PLC analog inputs. Voltage outputs are suitable for short-distance connections to controllers or indicators. 0–5 Vdc and 0–10 Vdc variants are not SIL2 rated.
Mechanical Connection and Sealing
Process connections: G 1/4" male DIN 3852-E and G 1/2" male DIN 3852-E. Selection depends on hydraulic block threading, installation position, and sealing requirements.
Installation and Maintenance
The transmitter body should be grounded via the machine. Signal cables must be routed separately from power cables and shielded cable is recommended. For SIL applications, use a non-distributed power circuit and cable length under 30 m. Periodic maintenance includes checking connections, inspecting for blockage in the pressure channel, and verifying calibration curve.
