Cla-Val 92-01 / 692-01

Combined hydraulic pressure reducing and sustaining valve for water distribution networks. Performs two independent functions: maintains constant downstream pressure and sustains a minimum upstream pressure setpoint.

Operation

The reducing pilot regulates outlet pressure. The sustaining pilot restricts valve opening if upstream pressure drops below its setpoint, protecting the main supply line or upper pressure zone from excessive flow withdrawal. Both pilots operate hydraulically, without external power.

How does it differ from the 90-01?
The 90-01 controls only downstream pressure. The 92-01/692-01 also maintains a minimum upstream pressure, providing dual pressure control.
