The 678201 is a manually operated rate valve featuring ISO 228 F/F female threads and a calibrated handwheel, designed for repeatable low-flow adjustments in clean liquid or gas lines. The body is constructed from AISI 316L / 1.4404 with a polished exterior. Available sizes range from 1/2” to 1 1/2”.
The calibrated handwheel allows for position recording and reset. This is beneficial in lines where operators need repeatable manual adjustments after cleaning, isolation, or batch changes.
The handwheel indication is not a flow measurement. Actual flow depends on differential pressure, viscosity, temperature, installation Kv/Cv, and piping losses.
Not recommended as a primary choice for slurries, suspended solids, or viscous products due to limited needle cross-section.
