Needle Valve 4G Ghidini 658030 – Clamp DIN

Manual needle valve for gradual regulation of low flow rates in clean liquid or gas lines. Model 658030 features a Clamp connection according to DIN 32676, Tab. 4 Reihe C and Tab. 2 Reihe A, with body and needle made from AISI 316L / 1.4404 and an external polished surface. Available sizes: 1/2”, 3/4”, DIN Ø34, and 1”.

Operating Conditions

• Operating Temperature: -20°C to +160°C
• PN 160: 1/2” version
• PN 100: 3/4”, DIN Ø34, and 1”
• Operation: handwheel
• Sealing: FKM O-rings, PTFE, and PTFE with glass reinforcement
• Handwheel nut/washer: AISI 304L

Process Applications

Clamp connection is chosen for quick disassembly for cleaning, inspection, or component replacement in the line. Typical uses:

• low flow dosing lines
• auxiliary circuits in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical installations
• process skids with sanitary connections
• sampling or bypass in clean media
• applications where threads are not allowed in the process zone

Not suitable for slurries, media with solids, or highly viscous products, as needle geometry restricts flow cross-section.

Selection vs. Threaded Versions

The 658030 is selected over ISO 228 or NPT when the line is designed with Clamp ferrules and disconnection without pipe rotation is required. For higher mechanical retention demands or permanent installation, evaluate operating pressure, Clamp gasket, and cleaning cycle compatibility.

Standards and Options

Upon request, anti-static arrangement ATEX II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex h IIIC T135°C Db and M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004 compliance for materials in contact with food are available.

Only for manual micro-adjustment. Does not replace actuated control valve.
