Genebre 2222 Needle Valve – 3000 lbs, NPT F/F

Manual needle valve for throttling control of small flow rates in clean liquids or gases. The 2222 series features female NPT ends per ASME B1.20.1, body and bonnet made of carbon steel ASTM A105, needle and stem from A182 F6, and PTFE + graphite stem sealing.

Typical Applications

Not suitable for slurries, suspended solids, or corrosive media incompatible with ASTM A105. In fluids with particles, the seat and needle may wear or exhibit seat leakage.

Difference from 2221 Version

The 2222 is the NPT threaded version. It should not directly replace the 2221 ISO 228 without checking piping standards, thread sealing, and compatibility with existing fittings.

Is it a control valve?
No. It is a manual needle valve. Continuous automatic control requires valve sizing and an actuator.
