Line Pressure or Vacuum Valve KITO F30N

The KITO VD/TA, F30N series, is a self-actuated in-line valve designed for use as a tank breather valve, pressure relief valve, or vacuum relief valve, depending on installation orientation. It is primarily installed on piping connected to vessels or tanks and can also function as a safety non-return device or overflow valve.

Operating Range

Operation is purely mechanical, without electrical or pneumatic actuators. Valve opening is triggered by differential pressure relative to the setpoint. The same construction is suitable for either overpressure or vacuum service, determined by the installation side facing the tank.

• DN 25 to DN 40 with PN 40
• DN 50 to DN 150 with PN 16
• Equivalent ASME sizes 1" to 6"
• Typical setpoints: approx. 1.7 to 200 mbar, depending on DN and loading arrangement
• For higher setpoints, select type VD/TA-1 per datasheet F30.1N
• Face-to-face length C can be adapted to installation requirements

Materials and Sealing

Body and cover available in carbon steel or stainless steel 1.4571. Valve seat and spindle are stainless steel 1.4571. Standard seal is NBR; optional Viton, PTFE, EPDM, or metal-to-metal sealing. For setpoints ≥100 mbar, only PTFE or metal sealing is permitted.

Connections and Standards

Standard flanged connection: EN 1092-1 Type A. Optional: ASME B16.5 Class 150 RF. Flow rates calculated for air (ρ=1.29 kg/m³ at 273 K) with 40% accumulation above setpoint, per DIN 4119. This version is supplied without EC certificate and without CE marking.
