ADCA S30/S Steam and Air Moisture Separator

The ADCA S30/S is a baffle-type moisture separator designed for steam, compressed air, and other industrial gases. Unlike the S16/S25 series, the S30 operates primarily through flow expansion, impact, and centrifugal separation. Water or oil droplets, entrained moisture, particulates, and salts are diverted from the main flow and collected at the separator base for removal.

Operating Limits

PN16 / Class 150: 16 bar at 50 °C, 14 bar at 100 °C, PMO for saturated steam 13 bar at 195 °C.
PN40 / Class 300: 40 bar at 50 °C, 37 bar at 100 °C, PMO 31 bar at 239 °C, 27 bar at 300 °C. Ratings per EN 1092-1:2018, design per AD-Merkblatt.

Installation and Drainage

Drain connection must always face downward. Condensate should be discharged automatically via steam trap or air trap. The top connection can be used for venting or balance pipe. For steam stations, install isolation valves, Y-strainer, sight glass, and check valve as required.
