Globe Valve Cast Iron JIS 10K - F7307
JIS 10K F7307 Cast Iron Globe Valve
The JIS F7307 is a straight-pattern globe valve constructed from cast iron, featuring flanged ends to JIS 10K standard. Designed for marine piping systems, it is specified where manual isolation or throttling of flow is required. Compared to JIS 5K F7305/F7306, this variant is selected for lines with higher pressure ratings and corresponding JIS 10K flange drilling.
Technical Specifications

Test Pressures
For sizes up to DN200, hydrostatic shell test is 2.06 MPa and seat test 1.51 MPa. For DN250 and above, values are 1.47 MPa (shell) and 1.08 MPa (seat).
Typical Applications
- cooling water and service water lines
- auxiliary engine room networks
- fresh water systems
- low/medium pressure lines requiring flow regulation
- locations where globe valve pressure drop is acceptable
For seawater, verify corrosion resistance, internal protection, seat/disc material, and galvanic compatibility.
Difference from F7305
The F7305 is a cast iron globe valve to JIS 5K. The F7307 is the straight-pattern JIS 10K version, with higher test pressures and different flange drilling. Not interchangeable without checking DN, drilling, face-to-face dimensions, and design pressure.
Selection Considerations
Confirm DN, JIS 10K flanges, medium, temperature, operating pressure, trim material, flow direction, handwheel access, and class society requirements. Standard execution is manual; no pneumatic or electric actuator is referenced in the product documentation.
