Globe Valve Angle Cast Iron JIS 5K - F7306
JIS 5K F7306 Cast Iron Angle Globe Valve
The JIS F7306 is a 90° angle globe valve constructed from cast iron, with flanged ends to JIS 5K standard. It is designed for low-pressure marine piping systems where a change in flow direction and manual isolation or throttling is required, eliminating the need for additional pipe elbows.

Test Pressures
For sizes up to DN300: body test at 1.05 MPa, seat test at 0.77 MPa. For DN350 and DN400: body test at 0.9 MPa, seat test at 0.66 MPa.
Typical Applications
- Auxiliary machinery piping
- Fresh water and service water lines
- Low-pressure cooling water circuits
- Piping systems requiring 90° flow change
- Throttling points where globe valve pressure drop is acceptable
For seawater service, evaluate corrosion protection, seat material, coating, and galvanic compatibility with adjacent piping.
F7306 vs F7305
F7305 is a straight-pattern cast iron globe valve (JIS 5K). F7306 is the angle-pattern variant, selected when piping layout requires a 90° flow change. Both provide similar flow control, but differ in geometry, installation height, and face-to-face dimensions.
Selection Considerations
Before procurement, confirm DN, JIS 5K flange drilling, installation length, flow direction, disc/seat material, pressure, temperature, process media, and class society requirements. Standard version is manually operated; no electric or pneumatic actuator options are specified in this documentation.
