Valvosider Bellow Seal Gate Valve per DIN

The Valvosider bellow seal gate valve is a flanged metal-seated valve designed for flow isolation in steam lines, thermal oil, condensates, gases, and process fluids. The bellow minimizes packing exposure to the fluid, used where atmospheric leakage must be limited, such as in hot, toxic, or expensive media. Not for flow regulation.

Materials and Sealing

Available body materials include 1.0619, 1.7365, 1.4552, and 1.4408. Seat/wedge surfaces available in X20Cr13, stainless steel, or hard-faced versions. Bellow material is X6CrNiTi18-10. Secondary stem sealing with graphite rings and wiper rings; gasket is stainless steel reinforced with graphite.

Actuation Options

Options include top flange ISO 5210, gearbox, chain wheel, electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator, position indicator, limit switches, locking/interlock, stem extension, live-loaded packing, drain plug, and by-pass. Gearbox recommended from DN500/PN16, DN400/PN25, DN300/PN40, and DN200 for PN63–PN100.

FAQ

When to choose bellows seal?
For steam, thermal fluids, or media where stem leakage is unacceptable as a normal operating condition.

F5 or F7?
PN16/PN25 are F5, while PN40/PN63/PN100 are F7.

Is packing needed with bellows?
Yes. Packing serves as secondary sealing and mechanical backup.
