Valvosider Bellow Seal Gate Valve per ASME

The Valvosider ASME bellow seal gate valve is a metal-seated gate valve designed for flow isolation in steam, condensates, thermal oils, gases, and process fluids. The bellow minimizes stem leakage and shields the packing from direct media contact. Not suitable for throttling applications.

• 450SO: ASME Class 150, 2"–24"
• 451SO: ASME Class 300, 2"–24"
• 452SO: ASME Class 600, 2"–24"
• 453SO: ASME Class 900, 2"–16"
• 454SO: ASME Class 1500, 2"–16"

Standards and Connections

Design adheres to API 600, BS 1414, ASME B16.34, and ISO 10434. Face-to-face per ASME B16.10, flanges per ASME B16.5 up to 24" and ASME B16.47 from 26", with BW ends option per ASME B16.25. Testing per API 598 / EN 12266, marking MSS-SP 25, certificates EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 and CE/PED.

Materials and Sealing

Body materials: ASTM A216 WCB, A352 LCB, A217 WC6/C5/C12, A351 CF8/CF8C/CF8M/CF3M. Bellow material: A182 F321. Secondary sealing with graphite rings & wiper rings, bonnet gasket is stainless steel reinforced graphite. Seats and wedge surfaces can be Stellite, Monel, Hastelloy, or other materials upon request.

Operation Options

Available with top flange ISO 5210, gear operator, chain wheel, electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator, position indicator, limit switches, locking/interlock, stem extension, live-loaded packing, drain plug, and by-pass. Gearbox recommended from 16" Class 150, 12" Class 300, 8" Class 600, and 6" for Class 900/1500.

When to choose bellow seal?
For lines where stem leakage must be minimized: high-temperature steam, thermal fluids, toxic or expensive media.

Is packing needed?
Yes. Packing serves as secondary sealing and backup.

RF, RTJ, or BW?
RF for standard flanged lines, RTJ for higher pressure classes, BW when a welded process connection is required.
