Wall-mounted emergency body shower with frost protection via self-draining design. The technical datasheet specifies this as a frost-protected self-draining body safety shower utilizing a three-way ball valve. No electric heating is provided for this model.

Construction and Operation

Drainage is achieved via a ¾” three-way brass ball valve (CW617N). When not in use, the valve drains residual water downward, minimizing water retention in the exposed arm. The shaft extension is supplied at 800 mm and can be cut to length during installation.

Arm and piping are AISI 316 stainless steel with polished finish. The spray head is also AISI 316, self-draining, equipped with a POM flow regulator for 50 l/min within the specified pressure range.

Standards and Flow Classes

Compliant with EN 15154-1:2006, EN 15154-5:2019, and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Also references DIN 1988, EN 1717, BGI/GUV-I 850-0, and GOST-R. Flow variants 50, 75, and 110 l/min correspond to hazard classes I, II, and III per EN 15154-5:2019.

Suitable for outdoor chemical plants, loading racks, tank farms, water treatment units, and cold production areas where non-electric frost protection is required.

Maintenance

Periodic checks: flow rate, dynamic pressure, ball valve tightness, complete drainage, 90° lever movement, spray head cleanliness, and shaft extension condition.
