B-Safety BR 816 095 PremiumLine
Heated emergency safety shower and eyewash station designed for outdoor industrial locations with frost risk. The assembly provides body drench at 50 l/min and a fixed dual-head eyewash (45° orientation), featuring electric trace heating and insulated stainless steel enclosure. Typical applications include chemical plants, tank farms, loading racks, water treatment facilities, and outdoor process areas.

- Height: 2300 mm; Arm projection: 600 mm
- Minimum flow pressure: 2.0 bar
- Operating pressure: 2–5 bar (datasheet), 2–8 bar (product page)
- Body flow rate: 50 l/min
- Eyewash flow rate: 14 l/min
- Electrical supply: 230 V / 50 Hz
- Variants: 50 l/min (hazard class I) and 110 l/min (hazard class III) per EN 15154-5:2019
Anti-Frost Design
Insulation is formed mineral wool, non-combustible per DIN 4102. Heating is via self-regulating heating tape (10 W/m). External thermostat disables heating at 11°C and reactivates at 4°C. Stainless steel enclosure is bolted and removable for inspection of heating tape and insulation.
Operation
Body shower actuated by 700 mm pull rod and 1 ¼” ball valve. Eyewash unit at 950 mm height, dual 45° heads, 14 l/min flow, ½” valve, stainless PUSH plate (130 mm) with phosphorescent marking per DIN 67510.
Standards & EX Zones
Compliant with EN 15154-1:2006, EN 15154-2:2006, EN 15154-5:2019, ANSI Z358.1-2014. Datasheet states suitability for EX Zones 1 & 2, with explosion-proof electrical components and risk assessment for both electrical and non-electrical protection.
Maintenance
Periodic inspection of flow rate, dynamic pressure, thermostat function, heating tape continuity, valve tightness, head cleanliness, dust covers, and unobstructed access to pull rod and PUSH plate is required.
