The ESV 80 F/F is a mechanical float-operated level control valve designed for filling medium and large tanks. Shut-off level is adjusted by repositioning the float along the lever arm. Operation is purely mechanical, requiring no electrical signal or external actuator. The pressure-tight, enclosed body allows use as an in-line valve where the hydraulic profile permits.
Suitable for water, aggressive liquids, air, and gases, subject to chemical compatibility with FPM and stainless steel. Typical applications include:
ESV 80 F/F: flanged inlet and outlet. ESV 80 F/G: flanged inlet, male-threaded outlet. ESV 80 G/G: threaded version, available DN 15–DN 80.
Seat can be replaced without full valve disassembly. Selection should consider required filling flow, available pressure, tank height, media density, and float movement clearance. For potable water, certification must be confirmed per code and use. Manufacturer certified to ISO 9001:2015 for design, production, and distribution of components.
Is an electric actuator required?
No. Operation is mechanical via float and lever system.
When is F/F selected?
When flanged connections are required on both sides, typically for larger diameters or industrial piping systems.
ESV F/F
Float valves of this series are ideal for filling medium to large storage tanks or for level control. A desired liquid level can be precisely adjusted by moving the float. The valves have a high flow rate and are particularly suitable for aggressive waters and other aggressive liquids. ESV valves are also suitable for use as pipeline valves.
