Brandoni F15 – Flanged Pressure Reducing Valve

The Brandoni F15 is a direct-acting, piston-operated pressure reducing valve designed for downstream pressure stabilization in water distribution systems. It is specified where the upstream supply pressure exceeds the permissible operating pressure of the downstream network.

Operation and Selection

The valve reduces upstream pressure and maintains a constant downstream pressure regardless of inlet pressure or flow fluctuations. Selection should be based on required flow rate, allowable pressure loss, and noise considerations, not solely on pipeline DN. Pressure reduction ratio should not exceed 5:1 to ensure stable operation and minimize cavitation risk.

Installation Guidelines

FLANGED DIRECT ACTING, PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES WITH PISTON

The flanged, direct acting, pressure reducing valves, with piston, in the series F15 are suitable for reducing and controlling the pressure.

They are made of ductile iron, with an epoxy coating suitable for drinking water.

Reduces and stabilizes the high upstream pressure into a lower downstream pressure regardless of flow rate and upstream pressure fluctuations.

They are available in PN 10 – 16, PN 25, PN 40 and for 2 regulation ranges of the outlet pressure.

Flanged version DN 50 ‐ 150.
