Gefran 1250 Controller – Programmer

The Gefran 1250 is a PID process controller, 48×96 mm (1/8 DIN), 80 mm depth, designed for local temperature and thermal process control in automation panels. It features an LCD display with PV, SV, F indication, bargraph for power/current/valve position, four keys, and a removable front panel for maintenance or replacement.

Process Inputs

Main input supports thermocouples J, K, R, S, T, C, D, RTD Pt100/JPt100, IR ES1B, and linear signals 0–60 mV, 0–1 V, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, 0/4–20 mA. Scaling is configurable from -1999 to 9999, with decimal point selection and sampling time of 60 or 120 ms.

Outputs and Control

Supports single-loop PID, ON/OFF, heat, cool, heat/cool, and open/close control for motorized valves without feedback. Output options include relay (5 A / 250 Vac), logic 24 V for SSR, triac 12–240 Vac / 2 A, continuous 4–20 mA, or analog retransmission 0–10 V and 0/4–20 mA.

Programming and Diagnostics

Setpoint programmer allows up to 4 programs and 12 steps with ramp, hold, consents, and event outputs. Up to 4 alarms, LBA for loop break, HB for load interruption or partial load failure, and SSR alarm for output short circuit are available.

Communication and Load Monitoring

Optional RS485 communication with Modbus RTU up to 115200 bit/s. Up to two CT 50 mAac inputs for load current measurement and energy monitoring based on nominal power or rms current via CT.
