The B-Safety BR 084 085 ClassicLine is an emergency body safety shower designed for installation above doorways, featuring exposed piping and pull-rod activation. The ball valve can be positioned on either side of the door, which is critical for installations at laboratory exits, chemical storage areas, or hazardous liquid storage zones.

Materials and Operation

Piping, arm, and wall flange are constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel with a green chemically resistant coating. The pull rod is AISI 201 stainless steel. The ball valve is DZR brass CW724R. The shower head is self-draining POM with an integrated flow regulator, ensuring a consistent spray pattern within the 1.5–3 bar pressure range.

  • BR 084 085: 50 l/min, hazard class I per EN 15154-5:2019
  • BR 084 085 / 75L: 75 l/min (20 GPM), hazard class II
  • BR 084 085 / 110L: 110 l/min, hazard class III

Flow rate selection should be based on risk assessment, chemical hazard level, available hydraulic supply, and operator egress location.

Product description

The body safety showers are equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the specifications of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely free of calcification and maintenance, and very robust and corrosion-resistant. The limited, uniform and above all soft water jet is optimized for rinsing off chemicals on the skin.

The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern regardless of the water pressure on site. With the enclosed safety sign according to EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, the B-SAFETY emergency shower is marked and visibility is improved. The viewing distance is 15 meters.
