The Valvosider Y-Type Bellow Seal as per ASME is a globe valve with an inclined flow path, designed for lines requiring isolation with reduced stem leakage. The Y configuration is utilized when lower pressure drop is needed compared to a traditional globe valve, without altering the fundamental isolation function. Applicable for steam, condensates, hot water, thermal oils, gases, and process fluids.
Features a bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke, with a rising stem and non-rising handwheel. Designed according to BS 1873 / ASME B16.34 / API 623, face-to-face as per ASME B16.10, flanges per ASME B16.5, BW ends per ASME B16.25, tested according to API 598 / EN 12266, marked MSS-SP 25, CE-PED certified, with EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certification.
Available in body materials WCB, LCB, WC6, C5, C12, CF8, CF8C, CF8M, CF3M. The bellow is A182 F321, gaskets are spiral wound stainless with graphite or RTJ, and secondary sealing is achieved with graphite rings and wiper rings. Seat/disc surfaces available in Stellite, Monel, or Hastelloy upon request.
Selection should consider ASME Class, NPS, temperature, body material, media compatibility, and differential pressure. For pressure below the disc, ΔP limits are: 3" 85 bar, 4" 60 bar, 6" 21 bar, 8" 14 bar, 10" 9 bar, 12" 6 bar, 14" 5 bar, 16" 4 bar. Above these, a gear operator or installation with pressure above the disc and bypass is required.
Top flange ISO 5210, gear, chain wheel, pneumatic/hydraulic/electric actuator, limit switches, locking/interlock, PTFE insert disc, parabolic disc, stop-check disc, live loaded packing, drain plug, bypass, BW ends, and DIN connections.
