Sirca S80 Three-Way L-Port Ball Valve
The Sirca S80 is a reduced-bore, three-way brass ball valve with an L-port flow pattern. It is used to divert flow between two pipeline branches. A 90° rotation changes the connected port pair; the L-port does not connect all three ports simultaneously.
Technical Data
- Size range: 1/4″–2″
- Pressure rating:
- PN30: 1/4″–3/4″
- PN16: 1″
- PN10: 1 1/4″–2″
- Temperature range: −20 to +160 °C
- Threaded ends: ISO 7/1 Rp or BSPT according to DIN 2999
- Rotation: 90°
- Flow capability: bidirectional through the selected port path
- Actuator interface: DIN/ISO 5211
- Direct actuator mounting
- Anti-blowout stem and antistatic device
Allowable pressure decreases at elevated temperature. Valve selection should therefore follow the pressure–temperature diagram for the specified size rather than the nominal PN rating alone.
Materials and Sealing
The body, three end caps and ball are manufactured from nickel-plated OT58 brass. The stem is chromium-plated OT58 brass. Four virgin-PTFE seat rings provide internal sealing, while FKM body seals and O-ring are used for secondary sealing.
Actuation Options
- Manual lever
- Double-acting pneumatic actuator
- Spring-return pneumatic actuator
- NAMUR solenoid-valve interface
For pneumatic assemblies, the published sizing basis uses a minimum 5.5 bar air supply and a maximum valve differential pressure of 16 bar.
Applications
Typical duties include diversion of water, compressed air and clean, non-abrasive fluids compatible with brass, PTFE and FKM. Port orientation must be verified against the required process flow path before installation.
Maintenance
The S80 has a one-piece body and does not permit internal seat replacement. Loss of internal tightness normally requires complete valve replacement.
