Sirca S70 Series Three-Way L-Port Ball Valve
The Sirca S70 is a three-way stainless-steel ball valve with an L-port ball for flow diversion between two pipeline branches. A 90° rotation changes the connected port pair. The L-port does not provide simultaneous communication between all three connections and is intended mainly for switching rather than continuous throttling.
Operating Data
- Size range: 1/4″–2″, DN8–DN50
- Maximum nominal pressure: PN63
- Temperature range: −20 to +190 °C
- Bore: reduced bore
- Standard threads: BSPP according to ISO 228
- Optional threads: NPT or BSPT
- Rotation: 90°
- Actuator mounting: DIN/ISO 5211
- Direct-mounted actuator arrangement
Permissible pressure decreases as temperature increases. Valve selection must follow the pressure–temperature diagram for the specified seat material.
Materials and Sealing
The body, three end caps and ball are ASTM A351 CF8M stainless steel. The stem is AISI 316. Standard seats are glass-filled R-PTFE, with virgin PTFE available as an option. Stem sealing includes PTFE packing and an FKM O-ring.
The construction incorporates an anti-blowout stem and antistatic device.
Actuation and Applications
Operating options include a manual lever or pneumatic actuator in double-acting or spring-return configuration. The ISO 5211 interface supports direct mounting, while pneumatic assemblies may use a NAMUR solenoid valve.
Typical duties include diverting water, compressed air and compatible chemical liquids between two process lines. The ball-port orientation must be checked against the required connection sequence for ports A, B and C.
Maintenance
The S70 uses a one-piece body configuration and is not designed for internal seat replacement. When internal sealing components are worn or damaged, valve replacement is normally required.
