Valpres 760 ANSI 600 Flanged Ball Valve
The Valpres 760 is a 2-piece split-body ball valve with flanged ANSI 600 / PN100 ends, used for on/off isolation in high-pressure industrial lines. The design is suitable where bolted body construction, maintainable soft seats and actuator mounting are required.

Available Variants
- 760200: stainless steel execution with A182 F316/F316L body, typically selected for corrosive fluids or stainless piping systems.
- 760150: carbon steel / low-temperature steel execution with A350 LF2 body, used in compatible non-corrosive and low-temperature industrial services.
Standards and Certifications
Available configurations include TÜV SIL 3 for safety instrumented functions and fire-safe design according to EN ISO 10497 / API 607. Final selection should verify the certified configuration, size range, pressure class and trim materials.
Typical Applications and Media
- High-pressure water and utility lines
- Compressed air and inert gas systems
- Fuel, process gas and compatible hydrocarbon services
- Industrial liquid isolation where PTFE/RPTFE, Graphoil and FKM are compatible with the medium
- Automated isolation valves in skid-mounted process equipment
Actuation and Operation
The ISO top mounting interface allows installation of pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuators. For automated service, verify break torque, safety factor, actuator fail position, cycle frequency, control accessories and available instrument air or power supply.
Selection Criteria
Select the 760 ANSI 600 series when the line requires a flanged split-body ball valve with PN100 pressure capability and provision for automation. Confirm DN, pressure-temperature rating, Kv/Cv, valve weight, flange standard, leakage class expectations and chemical compatibility of seats, O-rings and stem packing.
Maintenance Considerations
The split-body construction supports inspection of seats and internal components during planned maintenance. Leakage assessment should distinguish between through-seat leakage and stem leakage, as each is related to different sealing components and operating conditions.
FAQ
Can it be automated?
Yes. The ISO mounting pad supports actuator installation when torque and operating conditions are checked.
Is it suitable for fire-safe service?
Fire-safe executions are available according to EN ISO 10497 / API 607, depending on the selected configuration.
How should the material variant be chosen?
Use F316/F316L for stainless or corrosive service. Use LF2 where carbon steel construction is acceptable and low-temperature requirements apply.
