Sirca S30 Series Two-Piece Ball Valve
The Sirca S30 is a full-bore, flanged ball valve with a two-piece split-body construction. It is designed primarily for bidirectional on/off isolation in industrial piping systems. The floating-ball arrangement uses differential pressure to load the downstream seat and provide tight shut-off.

Construction and Sealing
The split body is manufactured from bar stock or cast material. Standard options include ASTM A350 LF2 carbon steel and ASTM A351 CF8M or AISI 316L stainless steel. The ball is CF8M or AISI 316L, while the stem is AISI 304 or AISI 316.
Seats and body gaskets use reinforced PTFE. Stem sealing is provided by an adjustable R-PTFE Chevron packing set. The anti-blowout stem prevents pressure-induced ejection, while dual antistatic devices maintain electrical continuity between ball, stem and body.
Actuation Options
-
Manual lever or gearbox
-
Double-acting pneumatic actuator
-
Spring-return pneumatic actuator
-
Electric quarter-turn actuator
-
Positioner, solenoid valve and limit-switch box
Actuator sizing must consider maximum differential pressure, breakaway torque, operating frequency and the required fail position.
Applications
Suitable services include compressed air, compatible gases, clean liquids and chemical agents without abrasive or suspended solids. Seat, seal and body compatibility must be checked against fluid concentration, pressure and temperature.
Certifications
Available approvals include PED, ATEX, DVGW EN 13774, fugitive-emissions testing according to EN ISO 15848, and fire-safe testing according to API 607, ISO 10497 and API 6FA. Certification availability depends on the specified valve construction.
