Sirca S20 Series Two-Piece Ball Valve
The Sirca S20 is a two-piece, full-bore ball valve for bidirectional on/off isolation of clean liquids and gases. Its compact body is machined from carbon-steel or stainless-steel bar stock and is available with threaded connections. The enlarged ball passage reduces pressure loss compared with reduced-bore designs.

Materials and Sealing
Body options include ASTM A105 carbon steel, ASTM A182 F304 and ASTM A182 F316 stainless steel. The ball is available in F304/CF8 or F316/CF8M, with corresponding stainless-steel stem materials.
The valve uses reinforced PTFE seats with 15% glass fibre. Adjustable stem sealing consists of PTFE/graphite Chevron rings and an FKM O-ring. An anti-blowout stem provides mechanical retention, while the antistatic device maintains electrical continuity between internal metallic components.

Actuator sizing should consider maximum differential pressure, breakaway torque, cycling frequency and the required fail position.
Applications
Typical media include compressed air, compatible gases, clean industrial liquids and chemical fluids compatible with the selected body, seat and seal materials. Fluids containing abrasive particles or suspended solids require additional assessment because solids may damage the PTFE seats.
Maintenance and Compliance
The manufacturer recommends annual inspection or adjustment of the stem packing when leakage develops and seal replacement after approximately 2,500 operating cycles, subject to actual service conditions.
The S20 series is covered by PED 2014/68/EU and ATEX 2014/34/EU declarations. ATEX classification includes Group II, Category 2 equipment for gas Zones 1/2 and dust Zones 21/22.
