The Neway Cryogenic swing check valve is designed for cryogenic liquid or gas lines. It operates automatically via process flow and reverse pressure, with no actuator required. Typical media include LNG, liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and other cryogenic utilities. Oxygen service valves are supplied with certified oxygen cleaning and material traceability.
Product specifications:
Cryogenic cast steel swing check valves are available in 2"–32", Class 150–2500, with temperature range -196°C to +400°C.
Swing type cryogenic check valves use a metal seat with hard-alloy weld overlay for erosion and particle resistance. The seat is renewable, seal welded with Stellite 6. Screwed-in seat options are available. The internal hinge pin is assembled to allow full disc movement.
Standard installation is horizontal piping for liquids or vertical piping with upward flow. For cryogenic service, consider thermal contraction, cold box insulation, pipeline cleanliness, and avoidance of liquid entrapment in closed volumes.
Suitable for air separation units, LNG terminals, cryogenic storage, loading/unloading skids, and liquid nitrogen, oxygen, or argon lines. Selection is based on pressure class, design temperature, body/trim material, seat type, end connections, and minimum flow for stable disc opening.
When is special evaluation required?
For LOX service, high ΔT, low flow, or risk of water hammer/slam.
What information is required for ordering?
NPS/DN, Class, RF/BW/RTJ, design temperature, process fluid, oxygen cleaning requirement, and trim material.
