Description

Flow Indicator 660 Features:

  • Double Window Sight Glass: Designed to offer visual monitoring of fluid flow through pipes.
  • Materials:
    • Grey Cast Iron (EN-JL1040)
    • Cast Steel (1.0619+N)
    • Stainless Steel (1.4408) for durability and resistance to high temperatures.
  • Connection Types:
    • Flanges (Fig. 660....1) (DIN 2533 or DIN EN 1092-2 for PN16)
    • Screwed sockets (Fig. 660....2) (Rp thread acc. to DIN EN 10226-1 or NPT thread acc. to ANSI B1.20.1)
    • Butt weld ends (Fig. 660....4) (Weld preparation acc. to EN ISO 9692 identification No. 1.3 and 1.5)


Operating Limits
:

  • Nominal Pressure (PN16):
    • Up to 16 barg (operating pressure)
    • Inlet temperature up to 120°C (or up to 280°C with higher pressures).
  • Nominal Pressure (PN40):
    • Up to 40 barg (operating pressure)
    • Inlet temperature up to 120°C (or up to 280°C with higher pressures).
  • pH Range: 9-10.


Types of Connection

  • Flanges: Standard dimensions according to DIN EN 1092-2 for PN16 and PN40.
  • Screwed Sockets: Rp thread or NPT thread for simpler installation.
  • Butt Weld Ends: Suitable for high-temperature applications with the correct welding preparation.


Applications

  • Installation Position: Can be installed in any position, but it should be installed in front of the steam trap for effective operation.


Welding Information
:

  • Proper welding procedures should be followed as per the material specifications and welding groove guidelines (DIN 2559).
  • Welding of butt weld ends should follow arc welding (process 111 according to DIN EN 24063).
