B-Safety ClassicLine BR 852 085 – Eyewash/Facewash Station with Bowl and Cover

The BR 852 085 is a fixed eyewash/facewash unit designed for permanent installation in industrial and laboratory environments. It features a collection bowl, protective cover, and vertical mounting column. The integrated bowl ensures controlled drainage of wash water, preventing floor contamination and facilitating compliance with occupational safety protocols.

Operation

Activation is achieved by pulling the cover downward. The cover shields the bowl and spray regulators from dust ingress during standby. The 3/8” brass ball valve is mechanically actuated by the cover linkage.

The unit incorporates two spray regulators in chrome-plated brass and an integrated 3/8” flow control valve. Spray height and flow are field-adjustable during commissioning to ensure correct targeting of the eye/face zone and effective drainage into the bowl.

Product description

The eye shower is equipped with two jet regulators, which not only meet the requirements of DIN EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure even water distribution. The limited, uniform and, above all, soft water jet is very suitable for rinsing out chemicals in the eye. Due to the limited water jet, the used water can be completely collected with this eye shower.

The correct jet height and desired flow rate are set on site via the integrated flow control valve. The eye shower is completely protected against dirt by the integrated hinged cover. This makes this shower the right solution for rough everyday industrial use. A sign for an eyewash device in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010 with a viewing distance of 17 meters is attached to the cover.
