B-Safety PremiumLine BR 852 095 – Eyewash/Facewash Station with Bowl and Lid

BR 852 095 is a floor-mounted eyewash/facewash unit equipped with a bowl, hinged lid, and vertical column. Designed for fixed installation at primary decontamination points, it provides controlled water collection and drainage, ensuring coverage of both eyes and face during emergency flushing procedures.

Construction and Operation

Column, base, piping, tees, and adapters are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 316. The housing, bowl, and lid are constructed from UV- and impact-resistant ABS.

Activation is achieved by pulling the lid downward. The lid protects the spray regulators and bowl from dust ingress when not in use. The ball valve 3/8” is brass, mechanically actuated via the lid mechanism.

Spray Adjustment

The unit incorporates two chrome-plated brass spray regulators and an integrated flow control valve 3/8”. During commissioning, spray height and flow are adjusted to ensure coverage of the eye/face zone and return of water to the bowl.

Standards and Applications

Compliant with EN 15154-2:2006, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, EN 1717, BGI/GUV-I 850-0, and certified DIN-DVGW NW-0417CL0263. Lid marking per EN ISO 7010 / ASR A1.3, 170 × 170 mm, with 17 m recognition distance.

Suitable for chemical laboratories, QC areas, sampling stations, chemical dosing, paint shops, water treatment, and facility maintenance. Compatible with potable water and most process water media. Maintenance should include periodic inspection of sealing elements and spray regulators for leakage and blockage.

Product description

The eye shower is equipped with two jet regulators, which not only meet the requirements of DIN EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure even water distribution. The limited, uniform and, above all, soft water jet is very suitable for rinsing out chemicals in the eye. Due to the limited water jet, the used water can be completely collected with this eye shower.

The correct jet height and desired flow rate are set on site via the integrated flow control valve. The eye shower is completely protected against dirt by the integrated hinged cover. This makes this shower the right solution for rough everyday industrial use. A sign for an eyewash device in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010 with a viewing distance of 17 meters is attached to the cover.
