Miyawaki REH20L-M Steam Pressure Reducing Valve with Pulse Line
The Miyawaki REH20L-M is a direct-acting pressure reducing valve designed for high-pressure and high-temperature steam applications. The downstream pressure is detected via a pulse line, directly adjusting the valve opening to maintain pressure close to the mechanical set point of the spring.
Technical Data
- Connection: Flanged, DIN standard.
- Body Material: Cast steel G17CrMo 5-5 / 1.7357.
- Body Classes: PN63 and PN100.
- PMA: 6.3 MPa for PN63, 10.0 MPa for PN100.
- TMA: 530°C.
- PMO: 5.7 MPa for PN63, 8.4 MPa for PN100.
- TMO: 530°C.
- Kvs: 1.8–80 m³/h for DN15–DN100.
- Maximum Pressure Reduction Ratio: 25:1.
Downstream Pressure Ranges
Standard downstream pressure ranges are 0.05–0.1 / 0.1–0.16 / 0.16–0.25 / 0.25–0.4 / 0.4–0.63 / 0.63–1.0 MPa, with spring selection per DN. Settings below 0.05 MPa or above 1.6 MPa are considered upon technical evaluation.
Applications
The REH20L-M version is intended for steam networks where operating temperatures exceed the limits of lower series. It is applied in local pressure reduction stations, cleaning systems, food equipment, thermal consumers, and compact steam-driven units.
Selection Criteria
Sizing requires p1, p2, steam flow, temperature, line DN, Kvs, PN class, and allowable reduction ratio. When the reduction ratio exceeds 25:1, pressure reduction should be considered in two stages.
