Manual flanged needle valve for gradual regulation of low flow rates in clean liquid or gas lines. The 658250 version features rotating flanges UNI EN 1092-1:2003, AISI 316L / 1.4404 body, polished exterior surface, and a graduated handwheel for position reset. Available sizes are DN10, DN15, DN20, and DN25.
The calibrated handwheel allows operators to record and reset needle position after isolation, maintenance, or adjustment. Position indication is not a flow measurement. Actual flow depends on differential pressure, viscosity, temperature, and line losses.
Not recommended for slurries, suspended solids, or viscous products due to limited flow cross-section in the needle.
The 658250 shares the same flanged logic UNI EN 1092-1 as the basic 658050 but adds a calibrated handwheel. It is selected when operation requires repeatability of manual adjustment, not just isolation.
Upon request, an ATEX II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex h IIIC T135°C Db antistatic device and M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004 compliance are available.
What is checked before selection?
DN, PN 40, flange type, gasket, temperature, media compatibility, and position repeatability requirement.
Can it function as a control valve?
Only for manual adjustment. Automatic control requires an actuator and Cv/Kv calculation.
