Hafner 22 mm Air Manifolds for 5/2 and 5/3 Valves
Hafner 22 mm manifolds are designed for group mounting of 5-port valves MH 5/2, MH 5/3, and P 5/2 in pneumatic panels. The common base distributes supply to port 1 and exhausts to ports 3/5, reducing independent tubing and minimizing potential leakage points. Manifolds are suitable for compressed air and inert gases, with typical operating pressures up to 10 bar and temperature ranges from -10°C to +50°C, depending on valve and seal selection.
Manifold Variants
- R 502–512 803: For MH 5__ 803 valves, supply G 3/8”, valve outlets 2/4 on top, exhaust G 3/8”, available in 2 to 12 stations.
- R 502–512 304 / 504: Supply G 1/4”, outlets G 1/8”, exhaust G 1/4”, 2 to 12 stations.
- R 502–512 704 / 784: Supply G 3/8”, outlets G 1/4” or Ø8 push-in, exhaust G 3/8”.
- R 502–506 121 G: For larger G-series valves, supply and exhaust G 1/2”, up to 6 stations.
Modular G-series
Modular assemblies use R 5 503 G, R 5 703 G, and R 5 103 G elements. End plates and individual positions allow configuration per valve count. The R 5 703 G D1 series offers individual valve isolation for maintenance without full manifold disassembly.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on:
- Valve type: MH or P series
- Function: 5/2 or 5/3
- Number of valve stations
- Simultaneous cylinder consumption
- Outlet connection: threaded or Ø8 tube
- Blanking plate BP 5 for unused positions
Applications and Maintenance
Used in valve banks for packaging machines, assembly lines, grippers, pushers, and pneumatic stations with multiple double-acting cylinders. Maintenance includes checking base seals, valve tightening, leaks in common lines 1/3/5, and monitoring pressure drop during simultaneous operation of multiple stations.
