KITO F61.1N Pressure or Vacuum Line Valve

The KITO VD/Sc-1, series F61.1N, is a self-actuated in-line valve designed for venting or breathing of tanks, primarily for installation within piping systems. Depending on installation orientation, it operates either as a pressure relief valve or a vacuum relief valve. It can also function as a check or overflow device in process lines.

Operating Range

The F61.1N is the higher setpoint version of the F61N, with identical operating logic to the KITO VD/TA-1 (F30.1N series). The pallet is spring-loaded and actuated by differential pressure, with no external actuator required.

• DN 50–150: PN 16
• DN 200: PN 10
• ASME equivalents: 1" to 8"
• Setpoint DN 25–100: >200 to 350 mbar
• Setpoint DN 125–150: >150 to 350 mbar
• Setpoint DN 200: >100 to 350 mbar
• Lower setpoints: F61N series
• Higher setpoints: subject to technical review

Materials and Sealing

Body and cover are carbon steel, with optional stainless steel 1.4571. Seat, shaft, and spring components are stainless steel 1.4571. Valve sealing is metallic, suitable for the highest setpoints in the series. Gasket options: HD 3822 or PTFE.

Connections and Flow Data

Standard connection: flanged EN 1092-1 type B1. Optional: ASME B16.5 Class 150 RF. Flow rates are specified for air (ρ=1.29 kg/m³ at 273 K) and achieved at 40% accumulation above setpoint, per DIN 4119. For overpressure limits below 40%, flow correction is required.
