Pressure and Vacuum Line Valve KITO F32.1N

The KITO VD/TL-1, series F32.1N, is a line-mounted valve for tanks and vessels, designed for both pressure relief and vacuum relief. It is specified where both venting and inert gas blanketing are routed through piping systems. The vent line can be supplied with inert gas, typically nitrogen, to maintain process conditions.

Operation

The pressure pallet is spring-loaded, while the vacuum pallet is weight-loaded. The valve operates automatically based on differential pressure, without external electric or pneumatic actuators. Functionally, it corresponds to the KITO VD/o3 logic of the F18N series.

  • DN 25–40: PN 40
  • DN 50–150: PN 16
  • ASME equivalents: 1" to 6"
  • Vacuum: approx. 6 to 158 mbar, depending on DN
  • Pressure: >200 to 350 mbar for DN 25–100
  • Pressure: >150 to 350 mbar for DN 125–150
  • Lower setpoints: F32N series
  • Higher setpoints: on request, subject to technical review

Materials and Sealing

Body/cover available in carbon steel or stainless steel 1.4571. Seat, shaft, loading weights, and spring components are stainless steel 1.4571. Valve sealing is metallic. Seat O-ring: standard VMQ-FEP, optional Viton, NBR, or VMQ-PFA. Gasket: HD 3822 or PTFE.

Connections and Standards

Standard connection: EN 1092-1 type A; optional ASME B16.5 Class 150 RF. Flow rates referenced to air at ρ=1.29 kg/m³, 273 K, with 40% accumulation above setpoint per DIN 4119. Technical datasheet specifies version without EC certificate or CE marking.
