Gefran 4A 48 / 4A 96 Display Unit

The Gefran 4A 48/96 is a digital display unit designed for direct measurement of AC voltage or AC current in automation panels. It is not a PID controller; its primary function is local indication of electrical parameters, load monitoring, and status verification of power circuits. Available in 48×48 mm (1/16 DIN) and 96×48 mm (1/8 DIN) formats.

Measurement Inputs

Input selection is performed via the front panel and corresponding terminals, without the need for external shunt or adapter. Supported input ranges:

• AC Voltage: 0–2, 0–20, 0–200, 0–500 Vac
• AC Current: 0–20, 0–50, 0–200 mAac, 0–1 Aac, 0–5 Aac

Measurement is based on the RMS value of a sinusoidal signal. Accuracy is 0.2% f.s. ±1 digit for lower ranges and 0.5% f.s. ±1 digit for 200/500 Vac, 200 mAac, and 5 Aac ranges.

Display and Configuration

The Lexan front panel is rated IP65 and features three control keys. The 48 model provides a 4-digit red LED display; the 96 model is available with either 3 digits plus sign or 4 digits. Linear scaling is adjustable from -1999 to 9999 (4-digit) or -999 to 999 (3-digit).
