Adler FX1 Spherical Ball Valve with Heating Jacket

The Adler FX1 is a full bore wafer-type ball valve equipped with a heating jacket. Based on the FA1 series, it is designed for process lines where the medium must be maintained above its solidification point within the valve body—typical for resins, waxes, oils, bitumen, polymers, or crystallizing chemicals.

Construction and Certifications

Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 12516-2, ANSI B16.34, and ISO 14313. Available with PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX 2014/34/EU, fire-safe BS6755/API 607, ISO 10497, ISO 15848, antistatic device, and SIL 3 capable for automated valves.

Operational Use

The heating jacket reduces the risk of solidification in the ball cavity and seat area. Selection must consider product melting point, jacket pressure, line insulation, and residence time.

Automation

The ISO 5211 flange supports pneumatic (single/double acting), electric actuators, manual gearboxes, or positioners. Torque selection depends on DN, pressure, temperature, and seat material.
