Globe Valve Angle Bronze JIS 5K (Union Bonnet) - F7347
Bronze Angle Globe Valve JIS 5K F7347 Union Bonnet
The JIS F7347 is an angle-type globe valve with Union Bonnet construction, bronze body, and flanged ends to JIS 5K standard. It is used in marine piping systems where a 90° change in flow direction is required, for manual isolation, or for controlled throttling of flow.
Technical Specifications
- Design standard: JIS F 7347-1996
- Test standard: JIS F 7400-1996
- Type: angle globe valve, Union Bonnet
- Connection: flanged
- Pressure class: JIS 5K
- Body: BC6
- Bonnet: BC6
- Disc: BC6
- Stem: C3771BD or BE

Test Pressures
Hydrostatic test values for F7347:
- Body: 1.05 MPa
- Seat: 0.77 MPa
Test values are not to be used as continuous operating pressure. Valve selection must consider medium, temperature, operating pressure, and vessel requirements.
Applications
- fresh water and service water lines
- auxiliary engine room circuits
- oil lines (after compatibility check)
- low-pressure steam, within design limits
- locations requiring angle connection and bonnet access for maintenance
Difference from F7346
The F7346 is a straight-pattern Union Bonnet globe valve. The F7347 is the angle version, selected where piping changes direction by 90°. Flow control function is similar, but installation dimensions, flow direction, and handwheel access differ.
Selection Considerations
Before procurement, confirm DN, JIS 5K flanges, L/H dimensions, packing material, medium, temperature, pressure, and class requirements. Documentation covers manual operation only; actuator options are not specified.
